What Can We Learn From the EDP445 Situation?
Who is EDP445? He was once a famous YouTuber, who in 2021 was caught attempting to meet a 13-year old.
Recently, EDP445 was caught attempting to have a sexual encounter with a 16-year old. He also made a threat on the minor’s life as well, saying that if she revealed anything, he would kill her. However, this time the incident was reported to the police ahead of time, and it is believed their may now be a pending investigation against EDP445.

These were not the only two times EDP445 was caught trying to solicitate a minor for sex, there were numerous incidents in-between that did not become large cases, but he appears to have been caught over 8 times attempting to groom minors.
What Can We Learn From EDP445?
While the latest case of EDP445 is gaining a lot of attention on the internet, often missing in the discussion is how a person could end up as he did. The answer is extreme porn addiction. EDP445 was known to watch large amounts of porn, once naming his 200 favorite porn actresses, a number even most porn-watching males wouldn’t be able to come up with.
EDP445 was known to have scat fetishes and send many photos of scat to minors. Likely he began to constantly search for barely-legal porn, which likely led to him wanting girls that were younger and younger.
He also had some deviant behaviors that are often seen in sexual offenders, like stealing women’s bras and wearing them on himself.
While many think that EDP445 is a unique problem, many pedophiles and sexually deviant individuals are being created constantly due to the pervasiveness of porn in society. He is ultimately a symptom of a much larger issue.
What EDP445’s case also shows is that once people are a predator, it is often very hard for them to change. He had regularly switched between trying to apologize for the incidents, and outright denying them, sometimes multiple times within a short span of time. Despite all of this, he ended up caught again, saying the same vulgar things to minors and even threatening their lives this time. The lesson from this is that without extreme treatments and rehabilitation, predators are likely to engage in the same behaviors.
It’s very important that we educate our youth on the harms of porn and the effects that it can have on the mind. Fight the New Drug is a charity organization that is doing great work in educating people on this issue. It may be too late for EDP445, but for many others there is a chance to steer them towards a better path. Lets work on protecting our children, and building a better future for them.
